i make music with my friends and am very proud of it. i currently live in toronto, where i've been since 2014. prior to this i grew up in hong kong. i studied philosophy at the university of toronto, and then worked on a bunch of music projects. i have been extremely fortunate to have met some brilliant people that i get to play music with every day.
these days i've been reflecting on ursula k. le guin's idea of
valuing the practice of art over the production of a commodity. i believe that the world is at a crossroads and we should chose to express ourselves radically and honestly. easier said than done, but worth it. my other interests include making websites like this, game design, and the lives of World War I fighter pilots.
